Paint or Wallpaper?

Here is the long entryway in this home and I'm going to decide if I want to paint the long empty wall or wallpaper it. That's the question?

Of course, painting the wall would be a much simpler process. You decide on the color, prep the wall, and begin to roll the paint on. Is this enough?

Or do I wallpaper the wall to add a little more personality? Maybe in a more modern design with navy and tan colors? I'm really liking the Schumacher designs only if I can get them on sale since this brand isn't cheap. Again, I like to do this on a budget!

What I'm going to do is to create a mood board. Hopefully, this will give me a better feel for the project. What do you think? Paint or Wallpaper?
